Information
Introduction
The University of Tulsa provides each student, faculty, and staff (those
that have a campus user name) 3GB of personal disk space on a campus server.
Benefits of using this personal space is that it is available to you all
around campus as well as off-campus. Also, your files are automatically
backed up for disaster recovery purposes. To access your personal space,
you must know your user name and the password associated with your user
name.
Your personal space offers several features:
- Network connection to your computer
- File backup
- Personal web site with cgi-bin capability
- Terminal access to run programs on the server
This space is yours to access. You may use this space to place original
as well as archived documents. No one else can access your file space.
