Campus Networking Ethernet Using Macs |
Information
**Macintosh ethernet cards are usually pre-installed and do not have
link lights.
-
Make sure you have an ethernet cable plugged into your ethernet
card and connected to the DATA port in the wall. If you are using
a phone cord, you will not gain access to the network.

Start your computer.

Go to the Apple Menu and select Control Panels.

Select TCP/IP.

Set "Connect via" to Ethernet.

Set "Configure" to "Using DHCP Server".

Close the window, saving changes, and you should be set.
