Campus Email Outlook |
Information
Introduction Microsoft Outlook/Outlook
Express is one of the e-mail clients you can use to access mail at the
University of Tulsa. Outlook and Outlook Express are software packages
covered by TU's licensing agreement with Microsoft. Both programs connect
to the mail server at TU This document will assist you in configuring
Outlook/Outlook Express to use as your e-mail client.
When Internet Explorer is installed, Outlook Express is also installed.
If you install Office 2000/XP, Outlook 2000/XP is also installed. On the
Macintosh, when you install Office 98, Outlook Express is also installed.
The first time you start either program you will be asked if you would
like to import messages from another e-mail client. It is your choice
as to whether to import these messages.
Start Outlook/Outlook Express
(Windows) - Go to the "Start" menu ->Programs ->Outlook
(or Outlook Express)
(MacOS) - Open the hard drive, find and open the "Outlook Express
4.5" folder, and double-click on the Outlook Express icon.
