Information
Introduction
myTU is web-based tool available to current students, faculty and
staff. myTU can be accessed from around the world; anywhere
that you can access the internet, you can get your campus e-mail through
myTU. Here are some of the following services that it provides:
- Change your campus password
- Send/Receive campus email,
- Setting vacation notices
- Campus directory search
- Downloading the latest versions of important software
- Links to check your grades, get your class schedules, and access your
web-based course materials
- Updated calendar of events, the latest news headlines and weather,
and current entertainment in Tulsa.
To access various systems you must know your campus user name and the
password associated with your user name.
Access myTU
To access myTU on your computer: open an internet browser (i.e.,
Internet Explorer or Netscape) and type http://mytu.utulsa.edu as the browser
address.
Alternatively, you can find the link on several pages throughout the site.
See the link on the left navigation of this page and also, at the top of the
IS pages on the right.
How Do I ...
Forward my Email?
Once you are logged in to myTU successfully, click on the My Stuff tab at the top. Click on Mail Preferences. This option will allow you to
forward your email to another email address leaving a copy in you campus Inbox
or forward without leaving a copy. Use this same option to stop the automatic
forwarding of your e-mail. [ View

- Click on Mail Preferences.
- Enter an email address in the box under "Forwarding Address:".
- Click the box next to "Use forwarding address".
- Click Submit.
Change my password?
Once you are logged in to myTU successfully, click on the My Stuff tab at the top.
Click Change Password under the My Account Services area. Changing your password will change
your password for all systems that use the campus user name as a login (i.e.,
myTU, email, off-campus access, Utulsa Home, Utulsa domain logins, WebCT) [ View

- Click Change Password.
- Type in your current password (may be your initial password).
- Type in your new password in both places. Note: passwords are case-sensitive.
- Click Change button.
Set a Vacation Notice
(Auto-Reply)?
Once you are logged in to myTU successfully, click on the My Stuff tab at the
top. Click on Mail Preferences. Use the vacation notice option. This option will allow you
to send an auto-reply while activated. Use this same option to stop the automatic reply. [

- Click on Mail Preferences.
- Type in the message you would like send to addressees while activated in
the Message: box under "Automatically send an email vacation notice".
- Click box next to "Use Vacation Notice".
- Click Submit.
Get my password reset?
If you are having trouble logging in and need your campus password reset, for
security reasons, you must come to the computer help desk in McFarlin Library
with a current student ID card or government issued picture ID and let us to
help you with your password.
